Digital scrapbooking
Digital scrapbooking has advanced to the point where digital scrapbook layouts may be made entirely online using Web-based software. Users upload their photos, create a digital scrapbook layout using a Web page and digital scrapbook graphics. Digital scrapbooking is the new thing these days, giving people a way to use their digital photos and find an effective way of sharing them with their loved ones. Think about all of those pictures that you have taking space up on your hard drive; imagine having a way to put them to use and be happy with the end result! Digital scrapbooking is the process of utilizing the latest in electronic technology to create scrapbook pages. Instead of using a traditional hard copy scrapbook and cutting out elements to paste into the book, digital scrapbooks allow users to create electronic books that are loaded with different colors, fonts, banners, and images such as photos and drawings.

Tradition scrapbooking takes up a lot of room. There are several friends that I have that have taken a spare bedroom and tuned it into their scrapbooking room because of the space that their materials take up. Traditional scrapbooks are made by hand using a variety of materials such as special paper, letter cutouts, and decorative embellishments, glues, pens etc. Typically traditional scrapbooking can be very messy and is quite unforgiving, should you make a mistake.
